Refer to people by their title and full name. The council oversees the Red Wizards of Thay. The hierarchy is very important, and one must be respectful of it: Paying respect to a person's rank is a custom. Khazarks have the same level of authority as autharcs, but they serve as leaders of foreign occupied terrories or enclaves. Each tharcion has an autharc, serving as their right hand.

Each zulkir has its own two tharcions or tharcionesses that act as guvernors. All zulkirs are Red Wizards of Thay as well as liches, and their power is only exceeded by Szass Tam. Led by the supreme leader Szass Tam, a lich, Thay is overseen by the Council of Zulkirs: Eight zulkirs compose the council, and they all have their own assigned arcane magic school. Laprendar is a region in Thay that is led by Tharcion Eseldra Yeth. Thay is dotted with volcanoes and often suffer from volcanic eruptions, causing the sky to blacken by smoke.

But there's also a way to go before we can say we have fully reproduced the Forgotten Realms and D&D experience, so we welcome all bug reports, and all reasonable suggestions for enhancements.Moving forward, we intend to create more of our own events, systems and decisions, to really make players feel like they're a ruler in the Forgotten Realms. Please take and enjoy this beta release - it's intended as a fully playable game in its own right. We are currently developing unique mechanics for each and every of our 80+ religions (and even more numerous divine patrons).I'd say we have succeeded in our basic goal of transporting the Forgotten Realms, and especially their central continent of Faerûn, into Crusader Kings 2. We have newly-adapted graphics for existing playable species such as yuan-ti and giants, and fresh graphics never before used in CK2 for newly added playable species.

Beyond that, our changes tend towards quality of life improvements, making the mod more immersive, playable, and stable. We have a full range of classes available, a magic system available for spellcasting classes, custom governments and succession laws, dozens of societies, 70+ playable races (some of them with their own unique mechanics), more than 100 D&D artifacts and an adventuring system completely unique to our mod. For a start, the whole map, except for wild monster territory, is now playable on any start date from 1360 to 1496. Going forward, we will be issuing small-number updates (0.3.x) for bugfixes and small enhancements, and middle-number updates (0.x.0) for substantial changes while the open beta continues. We have made many improvements since our alpha release. We are proud to announce that our first open beta version (0.3.0) is ready for release. Weekly experimental releases can be found here: Hail and well met, gentles all!Welcome once again to the world of the Dungeons and Dragons Forgotten Realms setting.Thank you all for your patience and enthusiasm. If you are experiencing odd behaviour with a ruler designed character, please try a preset one instead.

In such cases, there is nothing we can do and thus it may be better if you download it off of Github here: ĪLSO VERY IMPORTANT: Though Ruler Designer is fun and we try as much as we can to support it, it is also a fountain of bugs. VERY IMPORTANT, READ: Sometimes the Steam Workshop breaks bigger mods, like ours. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. IF CHARACTER PORTRAITS ARE BECOMING EMPTY, SUBSCRIBE TO THIS: įaerun is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. Unfortunately, the uploader to Workshop often does not cooperate, so keep an eye out on the github version just in case.
